btw i have one complaint about this eof update wen you load a song via the eof project file the app closes out and says before completly shutting down "eof.exe has stopped working "
the only way to edit a song is by opening the actual midi

well i have 2 things 1.visuals - could you guyz upgrade eof's look i mean its a dum complaint but eof has looked the same from the beginning and was wondering if it could be changed - (note placement) wen first used eof i remember i could drop notes anywhere now that eof has all these changes i am forced to place notes in spots where i dont want them 2. my computer keeps saying eof has a virus so do you think you can find out why it is like that
BTW eof is working fine wen i used before my computer said eof contains a virus

1a. It might be easier to tackle graphical changes when we try to port EOF to Allegro 5, but at this point I'm definitely more concerned about functionality than aesthetics.
1b. I'm guessing you have grid snap enabled and forgot about it. This would force you to only be able to place notes at certain boundaries. You can turn grid snap off by pressing the G key, or using the < or [/b]>[/b] key until the Information Panel indicates that grid snap is off. You can use larger or smaller grid intervals as needed, or define a custom interval for songs that have odd note rhythm. If this isn't what you mean, I'll need more information.
2. It sounds like a false positive. Anti-virus companies make these kinds of mistakes from time to time. You might be able to submit them a report about the false positive and they might be willing to fix it. If it's not a false positive, your computer already has some kind of virus but it would likely do more than cause EOF to get flagged as one.

btw we'll practice charts for songs and see who's is the best (key adv) i think ill try all difficulties btw i suggest using reaper to chart other tracks and eof for the left over pro tracks

For people who prefer charting in EOF, the easiest way to go to make a complete chart would be chart everything except pro keys in EOF, open the project's MIDI in a MIDI editor (ie. Reaper or Anvil Studio), chart pro keys and save a new MIDI, go back to EOF and load the pro keys tracks from Songs>Manage raw MIDI tracks. After this, you can make any changes you want to the rest of the chart in EOF, and when you save, the pro keys tracks get saved along with it. If you need to make changes to the pro keys tracks, you'd need to re-open the MIDI in the MIDI editor, just re-add the tracks to EOF afterwards.

k then ill get my sd card and finish working on haze (i can find each pro keys note by sound) There should be charts for Haze in the song folder already. If not, look in the song thread for a download. Thanks for taking the initiative for the job. Don't disappoint OCDTeam by doing a crummy job. (+1 Karma)
