For some reason, I can't place open notes in the Bass track except by placing them on a different note and shifting the note to the open note with Down arrow. Copy/pasting open notes in bass won't show up when pasting. Yet, open notes are still fine on all of the other guitar tracks.

Open notes will be working much better in the next hotfix.

Didn't an old version allow you to transpose the in-between notes even if your selection has a green or orange note included?
For drums, is there a way to swap notes? For example, if I wanted to swap yellow and red notes? Or all Green and Orange notes...
Also, is there a way to select ALL notes of the same color, regardless of if they're in a chord or not? I've found that though the guitar style way of fretting works great for guitar parts, it's really really counterintuitive for editing drum notes.

Didn't an old version allow you to transpose the in-between notes even if your selection has a green or orange note included? Probably not, the intended behavior would prevent that. You could easily select a range of notes and then just use the "Edit>Selection>Conditional deselect" function to deselect notes containing a lane 1 or lane 4 gem. Not in a single step. If none of the selected notes use a particular lane (you can enable the fifth drum lane for this), you can use it as a temporary working space and do something like this: 1. Select some/all notes. 2. Conditionally deselect notes that don't include a yellow gem (lane 3). 3. Conditionally deselect notes that include a red gem (if a gem has both red and yellow, there's no point in swapping its gems). At this point, the only notes/chords that remain selected contain a yellow gem and have no red gems. 4. Toggle on a gem in the temporary working space, ie. Note>Toggle>Purple to add a gem in the fifth drum lane. Toggle off the yellow gems with Note>Toggle>Yellow. All yellow gems have been converted to purple gems. 5. Re-select the notes from step 1. 6. Conditionally deselect notes that don't include a red gem (lane 2). 7. Conditionally deselect notes that include a yellow gem. At this point, the only notes/chords that remain selected contain a red gem and have no yellow gems. 8. Toggle on yellow gems (Note>Toggle>Yellow). Toggle off red gems (Note>Toggle>Red). All the red gems have been converted to yellow. 9. Re-select the notes from step 1. 10. Conditionally deselect notes that don't include the lane being used as temporary working space (ie. lane 6 for the fifth drum lane). 11. Toggle on red gems and toggle off the gems in the temporary working space (ie. Note>Toggle>Purple). All the purple gems (originally yellow gems) have been converted to red. Goal accomplished. If your chart is already using all 6 lanes, there's probably not an easy way to do this. I'll look into adding the ability to manually highlight notes and select notes that are highlighted, which would be able to get the same results. EOF won't allow you to select individual gems in a chord, but you can select all notes that contain a gem of a particular color using the condition select/deselect functions in the Edit>Selection menu.

New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
You can use highlighting instead of an unused lane when performing steps to swap two gem colors as per the previous post.

New hotfix is up. This release improves GP import so that if the selected track is a percussion track, EOF offers to import it into one or both drum tracks.

New hotfix is up. This release adds a "eof_db_import_suppress_5nc_conversion" setting (which can be set to 1 by manually editing eof.cfg while EOF is not running) that will prevent 5 note chords from being converted to open notes during Feedback import.

EOF stopped launching for some reason (at least for me but I don't think other people are having this issue). I'm using the latest build from June 19 and when I try to launch it, it won't appear on screen but it will appear within the Task Manager and if I try opening it again, it will create another background process of EOF and none of them appear on screen (I have to close these out through Task Manager). I then tried going back to the the base revision of 1.8RC11 as well as going back to 1.71 and they won't launch anymore for me either.
Do you might know what's preventing me from launching EOF to the desktop? I'm guessing it may have to do with my anti-virus softwares or something but I can't figure out why it's not launching anymore. Last time I know it worked was before I upgraded my RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB but I think it stopped working for me before that.
My PC specs, just in case. OS: Windows 10 64-bit GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 645 CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.40 GHz RAM: 16 GB DDR3
EDIT: I tried turning off my anti-virus software and running as administrator and those didn't work. I also try running in Windows 7 compatibility mode and that didn't work. Every time I try opening it, it opens in the background at like 30 MB, doing nothing. Are there any software required to launch EOF?

Try a reboot of the OS, or if that doesn't help try extracting the RC11 zip file to get a clean "installation" in case something weird happened with your other one. Nobody else has mentioned this kind of an issue unless their Antivirus had quarantined/sandboxed EOF or something like that. I wouldn't think the amount of memory would be an issue. My development computer has 16GB and EOF runs just fine on it.

I still can't get to launch. I don't know why my computer can't launch EOF in the foreground anymore (none of the revisions work for me). It stopped working in early June or late May and I don't know what I have or don't have on my computer that's causing it not to launch. I made sure to turn off all antivirus software, redownload EOF (I tried 1.71, 18RC11, and 18RC11's latest hotfix) and extracted each version and launch them normally and as administrator and I can't seem to get it opened. I'm going to try somethings like updating Visual Studio 2015 (though I don't think if that will do anything). *Sigh* I really don't want to factory reset my computer just to get a program to work again. Guess this is the end of the line for me and my days of making charts unless if I get a second computer to work with unless if I figure out the problem.
EDIT: I'll post the log of the last time EOF successfully loaded. 986: Logging started during program initialization at 05/26/16 00:05:05 986: EOF v1.8RC11 (5-13-2016) 986: eof_load_config() entered 986: set_default_config() entered 986: eof_controller_read_button_names() entered 986: eof_controller_read_button_names() entered 986: eof_controller_load_config() entered 986: eof_controller_read_button_names() entered 986: eof_controller_load_config() entered 986: eof_controller_read_button_names() entered 986: Importing chord shape definitions 986: eof_load_chord_shape_definitions() entered 986: eof_set_display_mode() entered 986: eof_window_create() entered 986: eof_window_create() entered 986: eof_window_create() entered 986: eof_window_create() entered 986: eof_window_create() entered 986: eof_load_data() entered 986: eof_init_colors() entered 986: eof_undo_reset() entered 986: Initializing audio 986: eof_mix_init() entered 986: Checking for crash recovery files 986: Entering main program loop 986: eof_switch_out_callback() entered 986: eof_switch_in_callback() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_switch_out_callback() entered 986: eof_switch_in_callback() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_menu_file_load() entered 986: eof_switch_out_callback() entered 986: eof_switch_in_callback() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_switch_out_callback() entered 986: eof_switch_in_callback() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_emergency_stop_music() entered 986: eof_restore_oggs_helper() entered 986: eof_exit() entered 986: eof_save_config() entered 986: eof_controller_save_config() entered 986: eof_controller_save_config() entered 986: eof_mix_exit() entered 986: eof_destroy_data() entered 986: eof_destroy_ogg() entered 986: Closing project 986: eof_destroy_song() entered 986: eof_destroy_waveform() entered 986: eof_destroy_spectrogram() entered 986: eof_window_destroy() entered 986: eof_window_destroy() entered 986: eof_window_destroy() entered 986: eof_window_destroy() entered 986: eof_window_destroy() entered 986: Logging stopped during program completion at 05/26/16 00:05:57
So the last time EOF successfully launched on my PC was on May 26, 2016. I wonder if I can do a system restore before or on that day. Also: Nobody else has mentioned this kind of an issue unless their Antivirus had quarantined/sandboxed EOF or something like that. Actually, someone has mentioned something very similar to my experience (I think it's the same thing) in a different thread, though his/her solution didn't work for me unless if I have other antivirus software running somewhere in the background that I don't know about.

You linked to your own post, so I can't be sure what other thread you're referring to. You can try System Restore, but it may also be worth a simpler test like creating a new local account and seeing if you can log in as that account and run EOF. Programs and OS updates you installed since May 26 may also be involved. Especially if the log file isn't being overwritten, it will be hard to tell how far the program is getting. Your EOF installation isn't located in a protected location such as within either Program Files folders, is it?

The link I was referring to that was similar to my situation was: dwsk.proboards.com/thread/2312/eof-open-all (Did I copy the wrong link in my previous post? How did I do that?) I have EOF inside some folders on my desktop (for games and gaming tools). But I'll try to create a guest account on my computer.
EDIT: After creating a new local account, it worked on the new local account. Nice, thank you. Though, VirtualMIDISynth (a MIDI synthesizer I'm using) was trying to launch aside it but got an error message. I wonder if that was the problem (maybe there was a MIDI interference or something). *Testing* After uninstalling that problem, it didn't seem like that was the problem (though I should try restarting my computer but I don't feel like doing that right now), though the first time when I switched back to my main computer account, it did open but it stopped responding and wouldn't open again, but it does open fine on my backup local account that I just created. Well, I guess that will do until I can find the main reason why it won't launch on my main account. Thanks for the suggestion.
Okay, after logging out and logging back into my main account after uninstalling VirtualMIDISynth seem to have fix it, but I should keep my backup local account up just in case if I'm wrong.
