Thanks to italianstal1ion for pointing out another source of potential songs to use in the game, nine inch nails offer a couple of albums for free Some of these are a bit too abstract to really be suitable to chart for the game but there are certainly a couple of songs that would be worth adding to the project Useful links:remix.nin.com/www.nin.com/albums/www.archive.org/details/NineInchNails-TheSlipMulti-trackStems
Multitracks are available but I have not had a chance to check out if they are split nicely or require some reconstruction work but this is the short list of songs that seem best suited in order of preference Discipline [v2] (The Slip Track 4) - [ Download ]Listen to

If there's tablature available (either from the band or from a published book), this could attract some more users to have a well known band bundled/available.

Ok, here is a very rough beta chart. It's currently pretty much unplayable, I'm posting it for 1) anyone who wants to start adding other instruments to it and 2) so that you guys can start critisizeing it I have the audio split into the following multi's drums.ogg guitar.ogg keys.ogg Rythem.ogg song.ogg vocals_1.ogg vocals_2.ogg instruments charted (or planned): Classic-Guitar Real-Guitar I might chart bass to on an off topic note... I learned how to beat sync =D let me know if their are any issues with the multi tracks, my first time messing with those. heres the chart Nine Inch Nails - Echoplex

Unless he fixed it for you and gave you a download, yes you have to rechart it.

well we are caring people
the song here is free to download for personal use but it does not state its free to distribute or modify so permission would need to be gained even in these cases, free to listen to does not automatically mean free to do what you like with
while there is the loop hole if for some reason permission could not be obtained for something that is free to download for personal use, if it was charted to an unmodified version of the audio and the chart was offered on its own with the official link for obtaining the audio, but that is kind of messy so we are really just looking for songs we can distribute with the project freely
so for now it'd be best to remove your mediafire link

I wasn't thinking about the distributing part. Yeah I understand. Thanks.

I'd love to make a crowd stem for "Discipline" if anybody is willing to join.
Sure, it may not be gameplay, but I might as well add something than nothing.
