sounds interesting, might need to confirm the terms of use as permission is usually conditional, if you have examples of songs you have permission to use (not the ones that were ignored as we'd have to assume no reply is a rejection) then post some links

Any specific suggestions for improvements to the master tracks before charting this? I haven't been able to make contact with the vocalist to get permission to use the vocal track. Is there anyone here who would like to record vocals for this? Do you plan to support real keys in the first release of Phase Shift or will that come later?

I just ran into this youtube post-sensation(atleast a year or two latter). I <3 this dudes voice, its totally whack outta picture to who he is. If you never have seen his face, you would never have guessed it was him.
Apparently he has turned down all live TV shows(late night & what not). To me its a person who does it for no profit(just for the joy of making music), this game (PS) is no profit, perhaps it would be good to add to the free songs(If you can contact him) for when vocals gameplay comes out.

For general Licensing and Usage of Universal Music Group Content please refer to the following link: www.umusicpub.com/licensingrequests.aspxfor permission use of songs that are owned by Universal Music Group, fill out the form, and wait for permission i guess lol I only really looked up for Hollywood Undead (songs like Levitate, Been Too Hell and Undead) but am thinking of chartting many more as well, if we can get permission for as many songs as we can not only by Hollywood Undead by by other songs owned by this company.. just saying would be dam awesome. please ask for permission for a bunch of their songs! I have already chartted the three bolded above songs on drums, all difficulties.

They will probably ask (demand is probably more of an appropriate word) for royalties, so the songs won't be free to download.

It's great to hand out CDs of the program with your band's songs on them. Since the big Rock Band craze, tons of people should have random plastic instruments laying around.

these seem good, did you have a specific song in mind? giving them all a listen from a gameplay perspective haze sounds like it would make for an interesting chart do you have recordings in a suitable format to allow for seperated guitar / drum tracks, send me a PM if you like

I'd be happy to provide Haze.
