So ive seen this similar topic around but none of them have answered my question, or solved my issue.
so everything works when the notes arent playable yet (start of the song), i have my hi hat set for closed, open, and pedal (not using sizzle), and all my other toms and cymbals working no issue, my issue comes as i can not get my second crash (yellow) to work when there is yellow cymbal hits (clearly unmarked unlike the other hi hat markers)
the only way i can hit thos notes is by holding down my foot pedal and hitting the hihat (registers as a crash yellow for some reason) and that will activate the note. i want to be able to use the second crash above my hats to do this and have tried to set this up with the psmidiprofiler, even went as far as to do a custom one, and still it will not work. even double checked the values using the midi exe.
someone please help!!!

<DEVICE> <NAME>Custom Controller Midi Profile</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Generated using Phase Shift Midi Profiler by djlastnight</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>5</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <RED>38,9,0</RED> <YELLOW>46,9,0</YELLOW> <BLUE>49,9,0</BLUE> <GREEN>51,9,0</GREEN> <YELLOW_TOM>48,9,0</YELLOW_TOM> <BLUE_TOM>45,9,0</BLUE_TOM> <GREEN_TOM>43,9,0</GREEN_TOM> <BASS>36,9,0</BASS> </BUTTONS> </DEVICE>

Hey, been strugling with the same problem, don't know if you solved it yet but this worked for me with real drums.
<DEVICE> <NAME>Roland TD-25 Real-mode</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Roland TD-25</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>5</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <RED>38,9,0</RED> <RED>16,9,0</RED> <RED>40,9,0</RED> <YELLOW_C>22,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_C>55,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_C>42,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_C>49,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_O>26,9,0</YELLOW_O> <YELLOW_O>46,9,0</YELLOW_O> <YELLOW_P>44,9,0</YELLOW_P> <YELLOW_TOM>48,9,0</YELLOW_TOM> <BLUE>51,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE>59,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE_TOM>45,9,0</BLUE_TOM> <GREEN>52,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN>57,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN_TOM>43,9,0</GREEN_TOM> <BASS>36,9,0</BASS> </BUTTONS> </DEVICE>
Basically just adding the yellow cymbal midi to yellow_C (yellow closed) and it picks up fine regardless of the hi hat pedal position. <YELLOW_C>55,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_C>49,9,0</YELLOW_C>

I'm having the exact same issue.. Can't get the yellow crash cymbal to register, and ive been trying alot of different midi numbers on my drum brain with no luck.. I've been playing regular and advanced drums just fine with the standard midi profile, but I cant seem to get real drums working with the yellow cymbal. My drum brain is mapped to this: Kick 36 Snare 38 Tom1 48 Tom2 45 Tom3 43 HH Op 46 HH Cl 42 Pdl 0 Crash1 22 (yellow) Crash2 51 (blue) Ride 49 (green) This is my Midi profile: <DEVICE> <NAME>Generic Midi Drums</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>The Current MIDI Standard (CC#4 Hi-Hat)</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>0</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <RED>38,9,0</RED> <RED>31,9,0</RED> <RED>34,9,0</RED> <RED>37,9,0</RED> <RED>39,9,0</RED> <RIM>40,9,0</RIM> <YELLOW>22,9,0</YELLOW> <YELLOW>23,9,0</YELLOW> <YELLOW>26,9,0</YELLOW> <YELLOW>42,9,0</YELLOW> <YELLOW>46,9,0</YELLOW> <YELLOW>54,9,0</YELLOW> <YELLOW_TOM>48,9,0</YELLOW_TOM> <YELLOW_TOM>50,9,0</YELLOW_TOM> <BLUE>51,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE>53,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE>56,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE>59,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE_TOM>45,9,0</BLUE_TOM> <BLUE_TOM>47,9,0</BLUE_TOM> <GREEN>49,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN>52,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN>55,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN>57,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN_TOM>41,9,0</GREEN_TOM> <GREEN_TOM>43,9,0</GREEN_TOM> <BASS>33,9,0</BASS> <BASS>35,9,0</BASS> <BASS>36,9,0</BASS> </BUTTONS> <METHOD>3</METHOD> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <NAME>Alternative Midi Drums</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Alternative MIDI Layout (Note Hi-Hat)</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>0</TYPE> <BUTTONS> <RED>38,9,0</RED> <RIM>40,9,0</RIM> <YELLOW_C>55,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_C>49,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_C>42,9,0</YELLOW_C> <YELLOW_O>46,9,0</YELLOW_O> <YELLOW_P>44,9,0</YELLOW_P> <YELLOW_S>23,9,0</YELLOW_S> <YELLOW_TOM>48,9,0</YELLOW_TOM> <BLUE>51,9,0</BLUE> <BLUE_TOM>45,9,0</BLUE_TOM> <GREEN>49,9,0</GREEN> <GREEN_TOM>43,9,0</GREEN_TOM> <BASS>36,9,0</BASS> </BUTTONS> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <NAME>Generic Midi Piano</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Full Range MIDI Piano</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>4</TYPE> <METHOD>1</METHOD> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <NAME>Generic Midi Guitar</NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Sysex Based Midi Guitar</DESCRIPTION> <TYPE>6</TYPE> <METHOD>2</METHOD> </DEVICE> Seems to be a bit long midi_profile, wonder if I have to delete alot of it or what do you think? I dont know if it goes after the first generic midi drums or the alternative midi drums profile when drumming? Help please

I would myself remove everything save it with nothing in there use PsMidiProfiler and make a custom setup.
