OK, we've had many requests over the past year but I would like to narrow down which features are in most demand. As such please vote above and I'll try and prioritize the most popular.
You can choose 2 Features.
Thanks David

i would like a more advanced practice mode.. if i speed up a song i THINK that the hit window is not as large as if the song was sped up outside of the game.. i think that the hit window gets smaller (or rather there is less time to hit the notes) because everything moves faster.. if the song was sped up outside of the game the hit window would be larger because the game would read the chart at 100% speed even though the chart was sped up to be something higher.. i actually like both hit window styles though.. one is more fit to practice the song at a higher speed with the same hit window as you had when you were on a slower speed and the other is more fit to have a real run on a song so you can make a video of you FCing it at 120% speed or something like that (i hope i conveyed my point good enough).. and other than that i just can't wait to be able to pick sections:D

i would like a search box where we can type the name of the song or part of the name of the song or artist or band name and that show to us some similar songs (it will be useful for people who have a lots of songs) e.g: if i write "metallica" it will show me all metallica songs of any game. (this has been requested before) thanks.

The poll is for MAJOR Features. What both of you suggested I'd consider minor features that are quite easy to implement.
I should have made this more clear. Thanks David

i wasn't sure if it was a major or minor feature since i wasn't sure how hard it would be to implement or whatnot (and i considered it an important improvement) so i decided to just post it anyway and let yall decide.. also i did not mean to make my request so limited in scope.. i was really asking for a more advanced practice mode (and let yall decide about how to do it) along with those other things i suggested afterwards.. anyway though if you would consider those requests minor features then should we change our votes from "other" to something else? and how should we go about determining whether a feature is major or minor?

It's clearly obvious that with an entire 3 votes, better 3D stage support has a heavy lead over all of them. A bit behind stage support is some netplay thing with only 3 votes, but yeah, 3D stages for sure!

simpler/more organized netplay would really put this above any free game ever made in the rhythm world IMO, and i think it would become a major feature used quite frequently if mainstreamed for the common noob...i definitely think netplay is more important than 3d stages because it's actually gameplay functionality related...

My big thing is I want to burn it to a disc to play on my PS3/PS2/Wii. But we all know that won't happen.

I vote for better stage support and more advanced features for it. Reason being that if we get this out of the way first, that is more time to 'pretty up the game' and make more stages before good netplay brings in a big crowd. Had this have been done before, we may have more stages now.
I for one have a model pack of models I myself have made for anyone who wants to copy/paste together their own stages in any design they want. All you need is 3ds max to drag and drop your stage, then export. If we could get a community onto something like this and a group of devs dropping out model packs, stages could have some serious potential.
At least, that's why I want it first more than anything.

Well I think adding MIDI Support will be first as it's the easiest of the most popular to implement. I think then I'll work on Vocals and Pro Keys.
But I'll be adding little improvements to the Online play as I go on. Pretty much everything on the list has been started in some sense. Plus we have a few little features which should be cool on the way. We are pretty close to getting the next release out.
Thanks David

Well I think adding MIDI Support Thanks David This is awesome. Can't wait to play with my electronic set! 1. Will the controls be configurable? 2. Will you also code for open/closed hi-hat? That way, closed hi-hat plays on yellow cymbal lane, and open hi-hat (also second cymbal) plays on blue cymbal lane? Then third cymbal plays on green cymbal lane. Hope that makes sense. I mean you could do a third option where the yellow cymbal lane has two different icons - one for open hi-hat and one for closed. (It's what Drummania does - they also do this for the green cymbal lane). But that would require an editor to support that feature - essentially when charting with say EOF, there would be three icons possible: yellow lane tom, yellow lane cymbal (closed hi-hat) and yellow lane open cymbal (open hi-hat). Not sure how hard this would be to implement
