Finding songs to download just to play with is ezaf, and free. I think you underestimate how much people would go to to do something for free. Even casual players. You have a point (I am without a doubt guilty of this). However... I don't think most casuals buy DLC either, they just play the base version of any game. He has a more solid point. Whenever someone casual buys a game and plays it, do they really want the DLC? Some of it doesn't affect the game at all (costumes and other such things), and some of it has no use or anyway. Plus, people who really want to play competitively will try their best to get as much DLC as they possibly can. Case in point, I have spent hundreds of dollars on DLC for Guitar Hero alone. I'd estimate a good $200-$250. On charts and audio files. And in Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock, to me anyway, the songs' lives are further extended by the challenges and the amount of points I can get on the competitive scoreboard. But, I can see that this devolved into a discussion about DLC and casual vs. competitive gaming. SOME of us like seeing high scores. Why should that matter? We should at LEAST have the OPTION to see a high score. You shouldn't have to see a high score if you don't want to. I'm glad you at least want to try it, but you can't be too doubtful...
