WHAT IS IT?cPlayer is a media player designed to seamlessly play Rock Band custom songs* much like Winamp plays MP3s and VLC plays videos, only limited by the inherent limitations of the format, with emphasis on 'custom songs' - no discussion of playing back official content will be entertained. * Rock Band custom songs converted to Phase Shift format are also supported as of v2.1.0 :-) CHANGE LOGUpdated change log with latest features and changes can be found here: cPlayer v2.4.0 - Features & ChangesDOWNLOAD & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSDownload and extract anywhere you want. Probably should avoid Program Files. Can be installed in the same directory and share files with C3 CON Tools if you want, but not necessary. cPlayer v2.4.0 - WinRAR ArchiveREQUIREMENTSMicrosoft .NET 4.0 www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851Please report bugs on this thread and I will address them as time permits. Very nice. But I want to bring three things to your attention.
"Playstation 3" should be corrected to "PlayStation 3".
The program will not load some of my songs, even though I used the exact same formatting as Rock Band (outside of forced Ho/Po/S).
When a song is loaded, the program assumes delay is zero. It needs to know that when one imports a song with four-thousand delay, it means that there is four whole seconds of delay.

"Playstation 3" should be corrected to "PlayStation 3". Thanks, will fix. The program will not load some of my songs, even though I used the exact same formatting as Rock Band (outside of forced Ho/Po/S). I would need to take a look at the songs in question. I tested with 10 RB3 songs converted to Phase Shift using Phase Shift Converter. Those all worked. Special cases will happen that need special handling, but I need more than "my songs don't work." Some users on the Facebook group have sent me some GH conversions that give them problems and I'll take a look tonight. If you can narrow it down to a couple of songs that don't work, upload them and give me a link. When a song is loaded, the program assumes delay is zero. It needs to know that when one imports a song with four-thousand delay, it means that there is four whole seconds of delay. Delay is not something that we worry ourselves with in Rock Band 3 customs and are not a concern for songs converted from C3 using Phase Shift Converter, so I had no idea this was a thing. It was already brought up to my attention on the Facebook group, so I'll be fixing that in the next update. Thanks for the feedback. I need detailed information to improve it for anything other than Xbox 360, since that's what I use and what I test extensively on my end. Any problems are likely not by design and I just need to be made aware ;-)

This is the first time I hear of an error saving the playlist, although I suppose it could be the same error that others brought to my attention. My lack of vision created a bug when the song.ini didn't have a charter listed. That's already fixed on my end, as well as adding support for a delay value in the song.ini and support for old GH1 MIDI tracks that apparently used T1 GEMS instead of PART GUITAR and songs that have album.png files that are really JPG files based on the binary but for some reason are being renamed to .png... If that doesn't sound like the error you're seeing, try to get a screenshot of the error screen and/or type the full error message here so I can get a better idea of what may be causing it. It's going to be a bit bumpy to start because my exposure to Phase Shift is limited, but if you guys report bugs, I can fix them :-)

Here's an update based on feedback I got from Phase Shift users. This ought to fix most problems reported. Maybe it takes care of the problems reported here. If not, be more specific please when you report them.

I'm getting ready to hang things up and I wanted to make sure to push this out with the few fixes I had done on my end. If you have no problems with your version, no need to update.

I just got around to trying it, and it seems there's a bit of a... bug I guess for Phase Shift songs with "Guitar_Coop" Charts, it combines them to both be previewed on the Guitar lane in the midi display, and it's very confusing. If you want an example of such, this one is the one that I found it with: www.mediafire.com/?kanxj7yr9z9kg3j

Yeah, that's definitely something I hadn't accounted for since I never came across a [INSTRUMENT] COOP chart. If I get around to doing another update, I have that added to my list of things to do.

There's only one for guitar as far as I know, but there's also guitar_rhythm but I haven't tested that yet.

Yeah I tested the file you posted and I agree, it's a mess. Unfortunately it's a bug you might have to live with for a while as on its own it's a minor inconvenience within the scope of the program. If I get around to an update, that's easy to patch, but that's an if I don't have an answer for at this moment.
