In what cases could Orange be charted in a chord that uses blue/green cymbal?

Basically if on a 5 Lane chart have Orange and Green together, the game in 4 Lane mode will move the orange to Green. So there would be 2 notes on Green. The same goes for Orange and Blue if fallbackblue = true.

If the 4 lane downcharting causes a conflict that prevents two lanes from being used together, would it be a better option to drop one of the gems if the chart is downcharted to 4 lanes? This allows more freedom for authors that want to make complex charts with fewer restrictions.

Anyway, I converted my charts into 4 lane drums, and toggling cymbals. Finally, it seems to give more freedom as you said
