Hello, I just learned about this game today and am trying it out. It seems like it could be pretty cool, but I can't get my ps3 mustang to work. The game tells me to profile it. I downloaded the profiler application, but don't know how to install it. It gives an error message about not finding the .dll file that's included. But I don't know where to put that file.
Any ideas?

The PS3 Mustang currently does not work with the game due to PS3 driver issues. Short of writing a new driver for PS3 controllers I don't see of a way to support this directly in game.
However, you can connect the controller via the MIDI port if you have a MIDI adaptor. They are pretty cheap to buy and are always usefull to have anyway.
Thanks David

Thank you for getting back to me. I discovered the ps3 mustang thread after I posted this. But first I did try a search on Mustang and got no results, so I thought there wasn't a thread.
I got it working via midi like you suggested. After five hours of not being able to get midi recognized by my computer. Finally discovered the problem was dying batteries, lol. Even though everything else about it worked, including midi to Rockband adapter to PS3. Also discovered this dying battery midi thing would completely freeze up Phase Shift.

Sorry to necro this, but I'm having a problem with the Mustang as well. The game knows it's there, it even responds when I strum or push a fret down, but when I go to play, the frets don't work and the strings don't strum on screen. I have it connected through a MIDI-to-USB adapter, and the adapter is fine.
