Really? Well, I did chart a Zelda song (Windmill Hutt) and I added extended sustain notes behind chords and it couldn't play the chord while I was still holding down an extended sustained note. Well, I do mostly make songs in Feedback Chart Editor (to align tempo) and finish editing the songs in EoF (and I do make extended sustain notes in Feedback via copying/pasting long notes behind other notes). I should experiment. Sigh... why do people still use dB? It hasn't been updated in a long time, and it lacks so many features that EOF has. I know that, but I always start of making charts with dB because I can sync the chart easier on dB since the playback in EoF sometimes goes off for me.

Playback stuttering is usually easy to correct by increasing the buffer size in File>Settings. I generally use a buffer size of 6144KB, enable smooth playback and disable vsync. Depending on your computer, you may want to use a higher or lower buffer size. Using EOF's waveform graph will also lessen the need to rely completely on audio playback for syncing the chart.

Phase Shift has supported this since the first version. Thanks David What I meant was the ability to play chords while holding down an extended sustain note because that doesn't work. A song that I know that is charted like that is "Jump" by Van Halen in Guitar Hero: Van Halen. Although, I think it wouldn't be possible for Phase Shift to play chords in a middle of extended sustain note. If it could, chords that are currently not over an extended sustained note(s) could be played with multiple frets held. Hmm...
