Concerning the paste function, I'll see when I'll chart something, to really see what happens

First bug report here I've put a width of 1900px, and first, the menu bar doesn't fit the window size, but also the scrollbar gets derpy : puu.sh/2I8Qp.png (You can see it on the right side of the window, in the middle of nothing) So it should be good to have all these menu things fit any window size

It's like a waveform graph on steroids, but since one of the axises on the graph is frequency, it might make it easier to identify certain instruments. About the paste, it's similar to how it was before, but it doesn't force the pasted notes to begin at the start of the beat the seek position is in, you can now paste starting from anywhere. That is a real problem for me, because when the tempo keep on changing (just like in Fragile Existence), the notes will "keep their place", so they won't fit following the tempo... Ok that may not be clear, so here's a video: That's not really bad on the video, but that can be really annoying in some parts Is there any way to change it, or is there an elder version somewhere I could use?

The problem demonstrated in the video is that the seek position wasn't at the position of where the first note is supposed to go. When you paste, and then click and drag, the dragged notes all get moved the same amount at a time, they don't each respect their beats' grid snap lengths like the paste operation does.
The solution is to seek to the position of the first note being pasted (ie. SHIFT+Pg Dn), change to the medium difficulty and then paste the notes. They will all paste in the correct location. However there's an even better solution in your particular example: If you're just copying the entire track, you can just go to the medium difficulty and use Edit>Paste from>Amazing.

will you ever implement a feature to be able to switch audio oggs during program use instead of just using the guitar.ogg? :0

will you ever implement a feature to be able to switch audio oggs during program use instead of just using the guitar.ogg? :0 on this note, could it be possible to make eof keep track of which ogg its using? I've had eof mess up my projects several times because I'd load a song.ogg to do edit some different parts, then save to find out both my guitar.ogg and song.ogg are the same file.

EOF lets you load a different OGG file whenever you want (it has to be in the same folder as your project), and it displays which OGG file is in use in the info panel. When you re-load the project, it does default back to guitar.ogg, but you can load a different OGG again if you want. One OGG shouldn't overwrite another unless you're using "Save as" to save over the existing project location, in which case EOF is designed to warn you that files are being overwritten.
If you're finding anything besides what I described to be happening, please further describe the problem.

I was charting a song on regular keys and was following a music chart's directions for time signature, when I went to put a custom 6/8 time signature, it actually put a 6/4 measure. I used 3/4 instead, since it's the same thing, but I just wanted to share the bug .

Could you clarify what the problem was? Did the grid snap values just not work (this is kind of a known issue for now, you can set a custom grid snap which should take the time signature into account), did it count the measure numbering incorrectly or was it something else?

It was saying that the time signature was 6/8 on the chart, but the measures was actually cut in 6/4. If need be I can try to reproduce and get a screen shot.

If you mean that changing the denominator didn't make the real time length of the measure change, I suppose that's a known problem as well. EOF is not really taking the TS denominator into account, so it's not musically accurate, but that's not much of a deal-breaker for custom songs so I'm not making it too much of a priority right now.
I am fixing various grid snap problems though. The built-in values (ie. 1/4) had always assumed 4 beats per measure before, but now it will reflect the correct number of beats per measure based on the time signature.

Hi, folks. A new release candidate is being posted and will be in the download section soon. Pro guitar is still the focus, but there are some other new bells and whistles included as well.

Thanks for this new version, always appreciated and I always find something that's interesting to me in the changelogs Also, I thought about a few things that'd we cool to add : - Customizable shortcuts : There are some features that I use very frequently and that don't have any shortcut, so I must find them in the menus each time. This is pretty time consuming and boring, when dealing with star power all along the song for instance. - Have the ability NOT to get back to the beginning of the song when you play it (space) and you reach the end of the audio - Keep the "Zoom" property when you change the display size or just the width - Improve the display when dealing with extra widths : puu.sh/3NEyF.png (Pretty weird on the right side) - Add an easy way to add sections to the song : I still don't know how to do them. Apparently, Gabivad has found how to do that, it has to deal with events, but there's a syntax, so it should be cool to have this halfly automated with textboxes and stuff. That's all for today, keep the good work
