DROP IN/DROP OUT GAMEPLAY!!!!!!!!! this is a key element in the game and it's a huge difference in the party aspect of the game which is frankly the core of the game itself. phase shift would be a complete package if just those 2 inches of vocals and di/do as i said. I am also planning on donating I assume there's somewhere on the page i believe i've seen it

I don't know if this would be a "major" feature or just a skin kind of thing, but real music notation (actual notes on a staff) would be awesome. My own interest lies in drums, so standard drum notation ala www.music.indiana.edu/departments/academic/composition/style-guide/images/newimages/PercNotation2-a.jpg would rock. I imagine it could then scroll along like it does in Guitar Pro 6, for example. Major obstacles would be things like not knowing if blue cymbal should be ride or open hat, but even with that ambiguity, maybe putting it always as ride would be a good default. Cheers!

Just voted for Other:
Support for real guitars without midi pick-up like in rocksmith.

Just voted for Other: Support for real guitars without midi pick-up like in rocksmith. Andreas I don't think that will happen, they haven't even done vocals yet and vocals are really hard to do and doing it for guitar is 10 times harder then vocals, It would be really cool but I don't think it will happen for phase shift.

The game has dependencies on DirectX and other windows-related services, so that isn't likely to happen. Besides, it runs fine for me and at least one other person through Wine.

I voted vocals and other. For other, I mean: "ope source it." I'd love to have the opportunity to contribute. I know someone asked 4 years ago for access and at that time the answer was no. Hoping time has changed that stance some.

Include vocals, maybe only MIDI microphones at first, or with external software, or ask Ultrastar Deluxes creator for help. Second, allow creating many virtual controllers from a single keyboard, personally I use MIDI controllers as instruments and I do not have many controllers.

Better multiplayer gameplay, I think Rock Band's multiplayer is a good base. If you play with a friend probably you want that if you lose you can be saved by your friend, and of he does not both lose, without this modality multiplayer game is sometimes a bit boring. In other words, there must be some type of interaction between the band members. (Including a bar similar to Rock Bands would be nice, there is a band bar, IT'S NOT INDIVIDUAL)

Full scale piano keyboard! I cant play this ugly short keyboard it is confusing Midi support for musical game is necessary. Lag is too big
Support for asio for all to minimize lags
Support for real guitars and custom songs from rocksmith 2014!
In that case it will be absolutrlly perfect

Old poll, but will still vote.
Voted for Vocals, for obvious reason (C'mon, pretty much the only missing thing) and other.
Other would be implementation of support for real drums/keys (and possibly real bass/guitar) velocity notes, like ppp, pp, p, mp, mf, f, ff, and fff on musical pieces. I would however not completely miss the note if not played with the right ammount of force, but rather get less points, depending on how close you were to get it.
I second the post above me for asio4all, would be awesome. Also from the last post, real guitar support would be really awesome (through analog audio), but understandable if not doable, considering the ammount of work needed to make that happen, and also considering the fact that even rocksmith doesn't see 6 note chords right, as long as you play the 3 highest notes, rocksmith will see it as the right chord.

A leaderboard for at least the base songs but also perhaps for matching song MIDIs would be ideal

A leaderboard for at least the base songs but also perhaps for matching song MIDIs would be ideal The game already does that by making a hash of the MIDI and checking it. That way, the songs that you play online and in the career are the same. Leaderboards should be the next milestone for Phase Shift, IMO.

They'd need servers for it though, online play works with dedicated servers on our own machines.
