Hey guys, I'm new to Phase Shift and want to use it for drum charts. I'd like to chart a few songs, so I can practice them by playing Phase Shift. Due to the fact I've never charted any song, I don't know how to start. What programs do I have to use? Is there any turoial for drum charting out there? I would b grateful if someone can help me get into this topic

You can check out the tutorial in EOF's Help menu for a very brief introduction to charting. The method for placing gems in drum tracks is the same as for guitar tracks, but specific lanes are treated as specific drums (ie. lane 1 is the bass drum, lane 2 is the snare drum, lane 3, 4 and 5 are toms. Gems on lanes 3, 4 and 5 can be made into cymbals where lane 3 cymbals are almost always treated as hi hat, lane 5 cymbals are usually a crash cymbal and lane 4 cymbals can be various things.
There are various tutorials on the Internet and on Youtube for different charting concepts.

So I can make a file in EOF and import it in Phase Shift and it would work?

EOF saves a notes.mid file (the chart). In addition to that, Phase Shift will need the chart audio (guitar.ogg) and metadata about the song (song.ini).
