I’d like one to test a somewhat complicated edrum setup. If it all works on my kit, should work on any. Oh and I’m a barker?

Umm so just checking through my logs to see whats going on, as you were a original backer that was on the key list. You already have beta access, a key was sent via email on the 3rd of November.

I'd be more than happy to pay for the game on steam but let's see my understanding is there were improvements made from the version i'm using to the current one that makes it easier to play/get started due to faster load times.
I would like to play on a current version of the game so I can see what has changed and give feedback based on that.
Currently I have an issue where 2 cymbal positions are swapped in game, making advanced + mode harder to play due to needing to constantly remember where which is. I can't physically switch the cymbals due to length of the wire attached to them. I'm not sure if there is a way do this in game, something I have to do out of game, or if there is no problem at all, being on a current version of the game would at the very least help out with knowing what is and isn't an issue.
with that said, would the move from the free version to the beta/steam version keep my scores and song rateings? what would need to be moved/copied to keep them.

If that option doesn't do what you need then you may rather just edit / make your own midi profile where you can bind the inputs to the notes as you please, its all in the mini_profiles.ini in the game folder.

Will have to look into that more, at least gameplay wise, it works perfectly, the only problem that crops up doing it with that is when I start the game and am at my keyboard to get the profile and everything ready the buttons changed. there should be something similar than this.
honestly once im done focusing on drums, i'll have to get my keyboard setup for this, dongle should be around somewhere for it but god knows where it is.

Probably a little late to get into the beta, but I'm interested in trying it out if possible.
I run a pretty weird setup (I essentially use a laptop as a desktop) and also had problems with input lag/calibration in other similar games (along with past PS releases) so being able to try it out in advance to see if everything works okay would be great

Can I post some requests here? I play almost daily as practice for the drums. There are some options I would like to see:
1. The ability to turn off the bonus completely. I strive for accuracy and the bonus gems just get in the way. It would be great if we could just disable that completely because sometimes I hit the gem by accident and then it throws off my high score.
2. An ability to save bookmarks during practice so difficult passages can be accessed quickly. The game breaks up the songs into sections, but there are some sections that have several tricky parts. It sucks having to reset the A and B loop points each time you play. It would be nice to save bookmarks, so tricky sections can be accessed easily on replay.
3. It would be nice to have an on-off button for different instruments. Right now the only way to get rid of vocals for example is to turn the volume all the way from 100 down to 0 in single digit increments. Then to turn it back on, you have to do the same but in reverse. Would be nice to be able to toggle on and off.
4. A jam mode for drums that just allows you to play/practice.
Thanks for the great game!
edit: I'd love access to a beta version as well if it is still open. I play the drums almost every day with PS, so I could give some feedback if needed.

I came to phase shift from clone hero once I said screw it, i'll either destroy my hands or i'll find a way around any issues, at this time, it seems like my issues were entirely the hard plastic heads of rock band so i am very new to phase shift and don't know if some of the things I will list here are in the game or not. I got an alesis nitro mesh kit, currently I am playing through songs just trying to get back to where I was before my hands forced me to quit the first time, in doing so i'm ignoring the cymbals for the time being. that said, in the golden section of the game where it doesn't matter what I do, would it be possible to have full kit sounds and not just mapping the cymbals to drum sounds? also, to what onlydlonly said about accuracy, I 100% agree with the bonus triggering being done by hitting a note, though some of that comes in the way of I cant hit the trigger note and go back to the normal pattern fast enough and that's more a lack of current skill then anything else, but I would love to have a self triggerable bonus. For me, I played everquest, and one of the missions required fast inputs, and I just wasn't fast enough with my hands, so I got a 360 controller, mapped the stick presses to marco buttons, and used my feet to FAR more effectively hit what I needed to, and that brings me to a suggestion, user triggerable bonuses for everything. Like I said, I have an alesis kit, so I wouldn't put a controller on the ground for this, but if I could map the trigger to the high hat pedal, and have its function switch to bonus trigger and sound trigger depending on if i'm in the yellow 'do what you want' section, I would be very happy with that, granted if you have a universal leaderboard, you would need to separate self trigger and hit trigger. hell, even people without setups like me may have a controller they could activate with a foot, or even they could put their mouse on the ground and trigger with a click. While I have a 'real' kit, i'm not sure I would go to real kit mode, it may be fun later on when i'm even better then now, but I think advanced would hit nearly every box for me in what I consider fun. on the note of jam mode, while I dont need it for drums considering what I have, keyboard the other hand, I have the rock band 2 octave keyboard, just not sure where the dongle is, I could appreciate a jam mode for that as well. if anything I said is in the game currently, I would love to know.

Hello there. I am joining from Turkey. I just discovered you. I'm using version 1.27. What do I need to do for early access? Waiting Impatiently. I would like you to produce guitar drums or agree with someone. Let's buy it. Thanks

interesting to see this device popping up again, shown off at ces compact midi guitar just a point of personal preference, I have that rock band strat full guitar and played the guitar midi on that for a while. Honestly once rocksmith came out I never booted rockband up again for guitar because the highway system is not good for it unless you already are able to play competently, at that point the accuracy or reading of better than rocksmith. Nice to see new midi guitars regardless though,

It certainly is hard to go back to such a short highway on RB3, the notes are on screen for so little time it's hard to sight read.
