Hey, so every time I go to copy and paste a bunch of notes, the song slows down insanely, and I cannot seem to put it back to normal speed, it ruins the chart and I have to go back to a previous version. Am I doing something wrong?

Please clarify if you mean the chart plays back more slowly in EOF, or in a rhythm game. How many notes do you have to copy/paste for a problem to occur?

I haven't attempted on a rhythm game, but in EoF it's like everything slows down. Any copy paste of any amounts of notes will most likely slow down the chart. I figured out a temporary fix and whenever I copy/paste, I minimize EoF, and when I pull it up the speed returns to normal.

I've never heard of that problem happening before. What version number is indicated when you open the Help menu and select About? When the slow playback happens, does the Information Panel say "Playback Speed: 100%"? There are also keyboard shortcuts that will play back at less than full speed, so if you pressed CTRL+V to paste notes and then pressed spacebar while CTRL was still held, it would play back at half speed. After you paste the notes and let go of all the keys on the keyboard, does the bottom of the Information Panel still show an asterisk next to CTRL, ALT or SHIFT (would indicate EOF thinks a modifier key is still being held)? If you pause and start playback by pressing spacebar twice (or clicking the green play/pause button near the top right of EOF), does it still play slowly?

v1.8, and yes it does show playback 100%.
When I use CTRL+V the asterisk pops up, but disappears. But I generally paste through the "edit" bar.
Regardless of how I playback, it plays slow. Although I have noticed sometimes that it doesn't slow down, but this is a rare occurrence.

Also I figured I would ask you here to spare making another topic, but do you know how to add album art onto charts? Mainly for Phase Shift.

There is no 1.8 release, but there are various release candidates. For the playback issue, try downloading the latest release candidate (1.8RC12) and the latest hotfix (4-7-2017).
As for the album art, it would be done outside of EOF. The old Frets on Fire method (I assume also works for Phase Shift) is to save it as a PNG file named label.png and store it in the same folder as notes.mid, song.ini, etc. I don't remember if the resolution of the image mattered, but I usually went with 330x330.
