SummaryTitle says it all; I'm building a Marketplace for songs for Phase Shift. Website - Desktop Client. Hope you guys can make some use of this service, and I'll be updating it with new songs as often as I can find them. APIThe API is public, and is (briefly) documented on the website under the API header. Check out the jQuery/JavaScript in the website source for examples of how it's used. Basically you request, for example: https://charthero.tk/api/?action=list-by-title , which would return XML similar to the following: <document> <row_count>1</row_count> <result>
F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.
<artist>Fall Of Troy</artist> <album>Doppelganger</album> <difficulty>All</difficulty> <charter>Neversoft</charter> <charter_url>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neversoft</charter_url>
<mirror>https://cloud.jpl42.ml/index.php/s/SSAlBAj09AYkfO2/download?path=%2F&files=Fall%20Of%20Troy%20-%20F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.7z</mirror> </result> </document> Desktop ClientThe desktop client is pretty self-explanatory. Download and install. Open up the program and start saving songs to: Phase Shift\music , open up PS and enjoy. CopyrightI understand that I'm hosting copyrighted content, and Phase Shift cannot exactly include this Marketplace in the official install. I will quickly respond to any copyright request sent to me using the format on the DMCA page of the website.

Good start! A few suggestions though: 1. First of all, I wouldn't call it "market". By being a market it implies that some of the material in it isn't freely distributed and is for sale. Just sends mixed signals. I would settle for "library" or simply "database". 2. Is there really any possible threat from DMCA? Just look at C3, they've been doing it for a while and hosting lots of songs without any problems (including converted versions for PS). So yeah, we could make our own library. 3. Add more songs, obviously. I'm sure there would be people who would gladly share their collections but having to go through filling the upload form for every song is a tedious and boring work. Perhaps think about adding a possibility to batch upload multiple songs which you would then scan and add to your DB? Parsing song.ini is fairly easy. 4. Improve layout/design of the website. For my personal RB3 Library I'm using jqGrid with MySQL/PHP backend. Results are pretty good:

It's a good idea! But I guess the site design should be improved.
Sorry for my bad English (I'm Brazilian).
