Interesting idea, never came into my mind, but what's the purpose? Honestly, I like doing it with my apps simply for personal preference.. everything in one place, no switching from window to window.. but that's just me.

I'm switching between windows just to prove that the application is working. There is no need user to do this. The main goal is to use only the current application when creating a theme, because it is designed to create a preview at realtime. At first release this will be partialy possible, because triggers and effects are not implemented yet (the most complex part imo)..

Looking forward to giving this a go. In all due honesty, I was about to try to make my own theme, just by replacing the graphics. I'm so glad that I did ask about it beforehand because that could of been messy...
EDIT: (XML Editor fails to load because of this stupid anomaly) It chooses to believe that Phase Shift is installed, but the directory it believes it is supposed to be in does not exist, then it closes.
I did not install Phase Shift into (Program Files); my reasons are valid enough to where I won't move it either.
I think it should be made to auto-detect where Phase Shift is installed, that way it can be used.

It autodetects your Phase Shift Directory. It gets it from windows' registry, so if there is something wrong there, app will fail to detect it corectly. for 32 bit: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Phase Shift for 64 bit: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Phase Shift Tested on windows 7 (all versions). What is your windows? What log.txt says about this?

Hi, wondering how the theme maker is going? I can't wait for the one that lets you drag images and set what they do I'm a noob at coding, once that comes out i can work on my GHL theme

Most, but not all of the components are implemented atm. Currently image drag is supported only on-screen (can't drag image file, but selected image object), so you need to know how to create the image via xml code. Do not worry, autocomplete feature make this task very easy.

C:\Phase Shift is the directory I installed it in (retarded User Account Control wanted me to give it permission to run every time so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it in C Drive instead). But...maybe the Registry didn't get the memo??? I'll have a look at it. (But that's just weird) EDIT: Indeed, the Registry did NOT get the memo, but a simple fix by editing the directory. Eh, oh wellie. Now it should work. "I'll phone in a verdict." - Cloud Strife - Advent Children

djlastnight By editing the respective "menu.ini", would be possible to scroll the song name (from left to right) on the "song select menu"? It seems, there are a few songs with really large names, exceeding the usually "<max_length>40</max_length>" and it would look better if this could be made. I am kinda noob, but I really like to tweak some things on different themes.

Yes, it is possible. You should animate the text's X position. This sample code scrolls through the entire screen width, so you should edit it for your needs.
<text> <english>Now Playing:</english> <size>12</size> <screen_pos>50,83,0</screen_pos> <position>-240,0,0</position> <justification>left</justification> <fx> <fx_type>linear</fx_type> <target>position_x</target> <start>1500</start> <end>-2500</end> <loop>true</loop> <speed>300</speed> </fx> </text>
