Just saw it pass by this morning. Gonna try it out and report back. Edit ~ It works. I promise it's not snake oil. Thanks, FourtySeven!

Hi guys! It's me developing that plugin for RB4 Drums. Well, drum brain can be opened in windows directly as HID device (it is a lower level than DirectInput or XInput, but higher than Bluetooth data level), so I managed to read its raw data. It sends: 1. Velocities of every cymbal and tom (value from 0 to 255) 2. State of every button (Circle, Cross, Square, Triangle, Share, Options, PS, Pedal 1, Pedal 2)
When you hit any tom or cymbal, drum firmware also rises corresponding bit for a button (circle, square etc...) as an addition to velocities! So it is not that "cymbals and toms are assigned to same buttons", but "buttons are activated IN ADDITION to toms and cymbals".
I created a first version of plugin that reads raw data and sends it to InputMapper 2.0. Plugin requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 installed (but I assume that it is already installed if InputMapper 2.0 itself works).
It works fine on my PC, but I see that others are experiencing some troubles. So I would be glad if you all test it and send me some reports, i.e.: which version of Windows, have you installed .NET Framework 4.5, screenshots of errors and roubles. I am at work now, so cannot make any demo, but will be able to do it 10 hours later.

It's a bit of a bummer that IM2 requires you to sign up for an account in order to download the program. Pretty sure I can't distribute it on my host due to license restrictions. But hey, beta is beta.

I'm glad to hear that it works. Please note that plugin has a setting to enable Custom Hit Detection Algorithm. I made it so that it could register fast rolls as well. Try it. Plugin has "Settings" button in "Plugins" section of InputMapper, press it and you will see that checkbox.

Hello! getting on board the hype train kind of late, but here we go. Looking back in time it looks like the PS4 pro drums issue was resolved several years ago using inputmapper 2.0 and the rockband 4 drums plugin... but for some reason those seem to be offline now... the page only allows to download inputmapper 1.7, and the plugins are nowhere to be found... am I missing something here? does anyone have a copy of those files that could share with me? I was really looking forward to get on the nostalgia from back on my rockband 3 years... I even got specifically the RB4 PS4 drums... and now I can't get them to work...
I hope somebody still roams around here... thanks!
